MONTHLY MEDIA CONSUMPTION: January 2021

I knew that “weekly” version of this wouldn’t work. Monthly is much better. There’s more to include in the roundup and it gives me a chance to actually finish some of these things, rather than a whole bunch of “in progress” or “I’m working on it” or “I’m doing my best, lay off of me!”.

Weekly Media Consumption: 12.7.2020 - 12.13.2020

Here’s what this week looked like. No albums listened to. Watched a couple movies, but only one of them was a new one for me. As far as TV goes it’s the same as last week. We usually have the TV on The Office (US) when we’re at home just in the background, but I can’t count that here. I’m trying to limit this to things I’m actively trying to watch or re-watch in order.

Weekly Media Consumption: 11.30.2020 - 12.6.2020

I used to post these as Monthly Rundowns back in 2018. Then I stopped doing it. I’m going to attempt to start this back up again because I enjoy being able to go back and see what I was doing at that point in time. This is wildly self-indulgent and basically only for me. If anyone reads this and gains anything from it, I’ll consider it an added bonus.

I Found a Passion During Quarantine

I bought my first DSLR camera about 9 years ago. It’s the only one I have and I still use it today. It’s a Canon T3i (aka 600D). It’s not the best camera, but it’s the one I’ve got. I’ve spent almost the entire time shooting with that camera in AUTO, never really feeling like I needed to venture into MANUAL. Quarantine changed that.
